Town of East Troy Board Members Face Recall Election
Recently elected Town Chairman John Stoesser is charged with malfeasance in office by the Town Taxpayers for Accountable Government. Citizens for Responsible Government counter that Town Supervisor Clayton Montez, a town board member since 1993, is not listening to the will of the people. A recall election date has not been set at this posting, but will likely commence on Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Court records show Stoesser is currently in litigation for slander and charges for his falsifying campaign records are reportedly filed with the Walworth County Sheriffs Department.
