Town Fireworks Permit

Book cover
The Wisconsin Towns Association opines that operators of fireworks within the town must obtain a permit from the town. Town board action is not required to issue the permit. The permit is issued by the chairman or a designee that may be defined by town ordinance. Factors that the chairman should consider are time of use, drought conditions, and population/density in the area that the fireworks are to be used.
