1835 Edinburgh Scottish NT Pocket Edition - The Book of James
This Edition was made available for those who wanted a version (of the New Testament) in English, but which did not come from the Modern Bible Societies.
This text conforms to the standard historic received text (Textus R.)
Simply search under "1835 Scottish New Testament" and the portions will be listed.
This edition is the 1835 Edition of Edinburgh Scotland. The Edinburgh Bible Society was one of the last Free standing Bible Societies which found much of the ethereal influence of the BFBS, and the modernist approaches to Textual Criticism of Nestle Aland and Westcott (and Tischendorf), to be premature, rather than being vetted by the strictures of science and scholarship. The British and Foreign Bible Society had problems with some of its freelance translations, but the Edinburgh Bib. Soc. did discuss these issues in a very candid way at the time when these issues were in wide circulation.
