The Mule is a very special kind of animal which can be very useful and which at the same time possesses a bad character being very stubborn and willing. We all know that a lot of people care about their mules knowing how much they can do on their farm and at the same time they abuse it. The public opinion about this animal is very different as well because a number of people have strong prejudices against mules. At the same time nobody denies that mules are probably very good friends of people who serve them faithfully. And this book is devoted to mules and the relations to them. Although The Mule was published in 1867, the book is not old-fashioned and not so much has changed in our stereotypes concerning these wonderful creatures.
