This book gives readers a detailed insight into the Canadian history and belongs to the pen of a famous Canadian writer and economist Stephen Butler Leacock (1869-1944). At the beginning of his career he wrote a number of humor stories and novels. The Dawn of Canadian History : A Chronicle of Aboriginal Canada represents different theories of the country's development since it was explored by the Europeans. Of course, some of the ideas presented in the book may seem out of date but it is definitely worth reading.
