Cancer Incidence 1990 Sri Lanka is the 3rd of its series, published by the Cancer Control Program (CCP) Sri Lanka under the sponsorship of World Health Organization in 2000. It provdes age-gender classificatios of cancer incidences reported from 3 specialized cancer hospitals namely Maharagama, Kandy and Galle in Sri Lanka. Dr Bernard Randeniya, who was the Director of CCP writes in the preface, that publication covers more than 80% population based incidences because these 3 institutions were the only source of radiation and chemotheraphy treatments available that time and therefore patients need to register with them.
