1928 The Messenger, published by the Watchtower Society reporting on the Detroit, Michigan convention that year. Includes many pictures and text of the convention and also Bethel headquarters (Bethel home and factory). At this convention Watch Tower president J.F. Rutherford ("Judge Rutherford") first spoke against the idea that the Great Pyramid of Egypt had any prophetic significance. Included are many pictures of prominent Watchtower officials. In 1931, this group known as the Bible Students took up the name Jehovah's Witnesses.
