The Pothunters
- Author: Wodehouse Pelham Grenville
- Genre: Internet
A 1902 juvenile by P. G. Wodehouse, a prolific English writer, whose literary legacy includes novels, collections of short stories, and musical theatre. “The Pothunters” contains several little connected to each other stories that take place at invented St Austin's College. Here we follow college lives of the characters, which join in the police hunt for the thieves after the school’s sport trophies have been stolen.
The Prince and Betty
- Author: Wodehouse Pelham Grenville
- Genre: Internet
The two main characters of the book are college-educated Americans. It is the subplot in the last half of the story involving gangs and their guns that makes it almost unbelievable that this is Wodehouse. Although comedic, the real level of danger presented to the characters is great, especially in comparison with later novels in which danger is usually in the form of an evil aunt who threatens to cut off the money supply. The novel is written in perfect Wodehouse’s comic style, and it’s definitely worth reading.

An Original Belle
- Author: Roe Edward Payson
- Genre: Internet
From the preface: One of the purposes of this story is to illustrate the power of a young girl not so beautiful or so good as many of her sisters. She was rather commonplace at first, but circumstances led her to the endeavor to be true to her own nature and conscience and to adopt
a very simple scheme of life. She achieved no marvelous success, nothing beyond the ability of multitudes like herself. I have also sought to reproduce with some color of life and reality
a critical period in our civil war. The scenes and events of the story culminate practically in the summer of 1863. The novel was not written for the sake of the scenes or events. They are employed merely to illustrate character at the time and to indicate its development.
A novel by Edward Payson Roe, an American author of the nineteenth century.

The Children's Pilgrimage
- Author: Meade L. T.
- Genre: Internet
This is a story about two children left abandoned who are on their way to the 'celestial city' as some call it. It's the view of a very young and naive person but yet who is also wise and strict. It has happy places and sad places and places where you will wonder what is going to happen next. This book is a definite must read.
