A reworking of something I submitted years ago for "That 70s Show". I suppose it shares a number of elements with a number of time travel stories, and also that Twilight Zone where the guy can trade how old he is. Here, people moving forward or backward in time one minute results in their aging one minute. Enslaved people are forced to age in order to stretch an emerging network back further and further in time, and things look very bad - until a hero emerges. Some day in the future, who knows, this could become a movie or a TV show.
