To be sure, Billy had lost the tip of histail when he was blown up by a bomb, but that did not matter.You never saw three such happy animals as these were to be able onceagain to lay eyes on their beloved country,--the United States ofAmerica, that glorious country of the free and the brave."Gee, I feel so happy I could jump out of my skin!" exclaimed Billywith glowing eyes as the three stood on deck watching the familiarshores slip by them and the skyscraper buildings grow taller andtaller and taller as they approached them.
