Edward Henry Peple (August 10, 1869[1] – 1924) was an American playwright. Born in Richmond, Virginia, Peple was educated John P. McGuire's academy in Richmond. He trained and worked as an accountant, mainly with the American Bridge Company until 1902. In 1895 he moved to New York. His first play was A Broken Rosary. His play The Prince Chap opened in 1895 and ran for two seasons with Cyril Scott playing the lead.[2] Plays Books
