Pauline's Passion and Punishment

Book cover
Pauline's Passion and Punishment belongs to the pen of one of the best American novelists of the nineteenth century Louisa May Alcott. During all her life she was a persuaded feminist and abolitionist. For some time Louisa May Alcott served as a nurse at the Union Hospital in Washington D.C. The book is wonderfully written and well structured. The main character is very touching and sweet. Like in all romantic stories, she falls in love and experiences strong passion. However, not everything goes on well and soon the main character has to pay for her deeds and believes. The novel is really carrying away and it should definitely be recommended for everyone who wants to dive for a couple of hours into a wonderful world of passion and romance. Among some other works that were written by Louisa May Alcott it is possible to name the following: Little Women and Jo's Boys.
