A Crystal Age

by Hudson William Henry

Story about truth and lie, false and natural, love and affection… The author in his wonderful, thoughtful manner tells us that affection is not enough, that love should burn in your life like a fire… without it the only way out is plunging into darkness and death…
Smith fell in love with a young woman, but then realized that she would never love him the way he wanted to and wished he would never discovered that fact… through his words and emotions the author expresses to us his point of view – that it’s better to always strive for impossible, dream, hope… than find out the horrible truth that leaves only emptiness inside…
