By Samuel Taylor Coleridge an English poet, Romantic, literary critic and philosopher who, with his friend William Wordsworth, was one of the founders of the Romantic Movement in England and one of the Lake Poets. Best known as the author of dreamy and somewhat creepy poems like “The Rime of the Ancient Mariner” “Christabel” and “Kubla Khan”. Though a major poet of the Romantic Movement, Coleridge is also noted for his prose works on literature, religion, contemporary affairs, and the organization of society. This volume deals mainly with Shakespeare, though touches upon Milton and the general principles of poetry.
