canterbury tales

This story describes the adventures of 29 travelers who travel to Canterbury on a pilgrimage which happen in the 14th century. The company of the pilgrims consists of a knight, a monk, a prioress, a plowman, a miller, a merchant, a clerk, and an oft-widowed wife from Bath. Their trip is quite dangerous and adventurous, often they lose their spirit and belief and have to support and entertain each other. Although Geoffrey Chaucer wrote his Canterbury Tales about five hundred years ago in the Middle-aged English, for those who want to read these stories and dive into their events there is a chance to find Canterbury Tales in the adaptation of Lee Harriet. Canterbury Tales are focused on such phenomena as love, sex, death, which are usual and interesting for all times and all people and which are described in a witty and entertaining way.
