The Coming of Bill

by Wodehouse Pelham Grenville

Description:

A novel from Sir Pelham Grenville Wodehouse, an English author, lyricist, humorist, well known as a creator of Bertie Wooster and Jeeves. It is considered by many to be an atypical Wodehouse undertaking, though invariably amusing, touching and humorous. “The Coming of Bill”, also known as “Their Mutual Child”, follows the life of Kirk Winfield, his wife Ruth and their son Bill. Ruth's Aunt Lora, believer in eugenics, has strong views on the care of children, while Kirk, an impecunious artist of perfect physique, has another. A light comedy by a master of genre.
