More on the Transfinite

Book cover
The ideas offered in my previous paper are extended here. Synaesthesia is a psychological variance in the perception of some sensory inputs of some people. It has garnered some considerable interest lately. A commuting diagram is used to characterize synaesthesia, which itself leads to it’s use as a psychological—and ultimately physiological—foundation for the semiotic ability. In particle, language is posited a synaesthesia that has gone “horribly” right from an evolutionary point of view. Transfinite numbers and their history are briefly discussed, with a semiotic/commuting diagrammatic characterization of the same. The other transfinite—the concept of God—is characterized as an example of a semiotic variation. Finally, the transfinite conjecture is posited: that the semiotic conception of the transfinite numbers can occur if and only if there exists a conception of a transfinite God.
