Description:

Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has survived the Hunger Games twice. But now that she's made it out of the bloody arena alive, she's still not safe. The Capitol is angry. The Capitol wants revenge. Who do they think should pay for the unrest? Katniss. And what's worse, President Snow has made it clear that no one else is safe either. Not Katniss's family, not her friends, not the people of District 12. Powerful and haunting, this thrilling final installment of Suzanne Collins's groundbreaking The Hunger Games trilogy promises to be one of the most talked about books of the year.

...to bother them. Even without the camera shells, they strongly resemble each other. Same sandy hair, red beards, and blue eyes. The one with close-bitten nails introduces himself as Castor and the other, who's his brother, as Pollux. I wait for Pollux to say hello, but he just nods. At first I think he's shy or a man of few words. But something tugs on me--the position of his lips, the extra effort he takes to swallow--and I know before Castor tells me. Pollux is an Avox. They have cut out his tongue and he will never speak again. And I no longer have to wonder what made him risk everything to help bring down the Capitol. As the room fills, I brace myself for a less congenial reception. But the only people who register any kind of As the room fills, I brace myself for a less congenial reception. But the only people who register any kind of negativity are Haymitch, who's always out of sorts, and a sour-faced Fulvia Cardew. Boggs wears a flesh- colored plastic mask from his...

SPELLBOUND
The Hunger Games Trilogy was one of the few books that held me spellbound only unfastening its grip to allow me to turn the page, or in the case of the final book, click away, anticipating the twist of romance, drama and plot. I've just recently finished this trilogy and honestly, I was speechless for a few minutes, just relishing in the moment and praising Suzanne Collins' artistic fingers for fulfilling me as a reader on the quest for great books. I'm definitely content and anxious to see the other two books brought to the big screen.

perfect ending to an amazing series
There could not have been a better way to end the series. This book made me laugh, scream, gasp, and even cry. The only other book series that has been able to do the same was the Harry Potter series. These three books have been by far the best books that I have read in the past three years. Potter fans know what I mean when I say that the characters are so real that they seem to be your best freinds, Katniss and the others are forever in my heart and I plan to keep them there. :D

The book could not be described as anything but amazing!

It's a nice story though it makes my heart aches too why Prim has to die... I'm still hungry for more story... I wish she elaborates more how Prim got into the capitol and has to die and about Peeta, how he manage to hang on when he was at the confusing stage..what's life like in Panem and Gale and the rest of the victors.. I wish Peeta haven't gone into mental breakdown or so because he could be an ideal to lead Panem, where his soft words of wisdom will spread the land instead of power and strenght. I'm a Peeta team cause I love baking ;-)

She’s really gone, then. The little girl with the back of her shirt sticking out like a duck tail, the one who needed help reaching the dishes, and who begged to see the frosted cakes in the bakery window. Time and tragedy have forced her to grow too quickly
