This story takes part in the period of the World War II and starts in the Paris. Marie Laure is a blind, and maybe that is why she still lives with her father who is the specialist of locks. They live very close to the Museum of Natural History where farther works and spend there so much time, because there are thousands of different locks. When Marie lost her vision, she was only 6 and her father built her a model of their neighborhood with all buildings so Marie could study the location in the district with her finders and easy navigates on the streets. But Germans occupy Paris and Marie with her farther have to run away. New place, new friends and maybe new love? Who knows…
